most math teachers are boring as heck... i remember my JC math lecturer who was brilliant as a mathematician but less than useless as a teacher Laughing

there was an incident where he mapped out a huge equation only to stand and stare at a line which basically said "the sum of x from 1 to n for n = 2"

it was basically 1 + 2 but he stood there and stared at it

i wish i had a mathematical mind...

So I misquote horrendously.

I love my A Level literature books though. All very perverse, totally amoral Very Happy

I did .. The Country Wife (Play where this guy goes around trying to have sex with other people's wives) and one of Chaucer's Canterbury tales (where this married woman and young man tries all means to have sex with each other without her husband knowing)

and John Donne (seriously confused poet who was at different parts of his life obsessed with love, sex and then religion.)

I remember I had to do this book called "The Crysalis" or something like that
About human evolution getting telepathic powers and it was supposed to be after the holocast or something
Where ppl went back to the middle ages or something
Sci-fi. Anyway, I didn't enjoy the story so didn't pay attention.
Thank that was what pulled down my results

John Wyndham. The Chrysalids.

Actually I think u would probably enjoy the book if you read it now.

I think its like Tolkein. The language is very archaic, even though the story (for its time) was revolutionary. But ending sucks.

Yup Joseph Conrad. Apocalypse Now was good to watch but... uhh.. I don't know, I just never had the inclination to plough through that book. I love Apocalypse Now though.. especially the line about Sanity like a snail on a razorblade. Sounds like my type of sanity. HURHURHURHUR

Yaah..The Miller's Tale hurhurhurhur you need to have a coarse, I mean -coughcough- Earthy sense of humour to enjoy it. Some of my classmates were grossed out but I thought it was hilarious. HRHURHURHURHUR!
